Mr. Ralph Moore

Mr. Moore's 100th birthday celebration concluded on Monday, January 15 at Sequoia Nursery with an openhouse and luncheon. American Rose Society President, Steve Jones, presented Mr. Moore with a book of letters from rose society officers and rose admirers from all over the world. He also presented Mr. Moore with a copy of the January, 2007 issue of American Rose. The entire magazine is dedicated to Ralph Moore.

Everyone that joined Mr. Moore in his birthday celebration agreed it was a fantastic event. Special thanks to Irene Lindsay, Burling Leong and Carolyn Supinger for their dedication throughout the years to Mr. Moore. Mr. Moore's entire family is to be congratulated on having such a wonderful birthday celebration. Rosarians all over the world are so thankful that his family has "shared' him with us. The conclusion was why did we wait so long to honor the greatest rosarian in the world.
